Portage City Centre Flower Planting Volunteer Opportunity

Our CPCU Chapter Membership team invites you to volunteer for City Centre Flower Planting and general clean-up on Friday May 20th from 9:00am – 3:30pm.
Every spring, the city of Portage partners with Kalamazoo in Bloom to plant and maintain flowerbeds in the City Centre area (near Portage City Hall and Library).
Here is some information as you prepare to volunteer:
- Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome!
- Trowel and gloves recommended, but extras will be available.
- Wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty and dress appropriately for the weather.
- Morning snacks and pizza lunch will be provided!
- State Farm associates may utilize CS/ES paid time for this opportunity.
