Holiday Adopt-a-Family

As we approach Thanksgiving weekend and the store holiday decorations have been up for weeks; the Holiday Season is officially upon us. To keep with our chapter’s community good works and the giving spirit of the season, our chapter has adopted a family for this holiday season. Catholic Charities of Kalamazoo Diocese is the organization coordinating the non-denominational adopt-a-family program. We hope to make this family’s holiday a happier one.

Below is a table with our families’ needs and wants. Please consider purchasing (participation is strictly voluntary) one or more of the items listed on this sheet. In order to prevent duplication of items, please notify Jenny Callaway of the items you plan to purchase or have already bought. If you prefer to donate money, feel free to give it to Andy O’Hern or Jenny Callaway. The committee will use the donated money to purchase the items not obtained and possibly a gift card to Meijer.

All purchased items will need to be turned in by the end of day Friday, December 11. For members outside of State Farm, please bring your items to the next CPCU meeting on Wednesday, December 2 or contact a committee member. Others may deliver their items to Andy O’Hern’s desk located in SFOC near the back southwest corner by the side employee entrance. Gifts should be wrapped with a tag labeled with our family # 21 and the individual. For example, #21--5 yr. Boy.
