Portage City Centre Flower Planting Volunteer Opportunity - Friday May 20th from 9:00 A.M to 3:30 P.M.
Our CPCU Chapter Membership team invites you to volunteer for City Centre Flower Planting & general clean-up.
Every spring, the city of Portage partners with Kalamazoo in Bloom to plant and maintain flowerbeds in the City Centre area (near Portage City Hall & Library)
Here is some information as you prepare to volunteer:
Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome! Trowel & gloves, extras will be available.
Wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty and dress appropriately for the weather.
Morning snacks & pizza lunch will be provided!
State Farm associates may use CS/ES paid time.
Habitat for Humanity
Thank you to all chapter members who volunteered for Habitat for Humanity yesterday! We helped restore a house in downtown Kalamazoo by sanding, caulking, and priming trim, and painting doors. It was an enjoyable and rewarding day!
